Plate Hiten
Hi-Ten steel, singkatan dari High-Tensile Steel, adalah pelat baja berkekuatan tinggi, yang lebih kuat (durable) untuk menahan tekanan, sifat bajanya elastis (tidak mudah patah), bisa menyerap getaran (absorbed energy). Baja ini lebih kuat dan durasi pemakaian tahan lama dibanding plate mild steel.
Pelat baja hiten ini memiliki rentang kekuatan tarik dari 590 hingga 980 N/mm2. JFE juga menawarkan dua produk pelat kekuatan hasil tinggi, HYD960LE dan HYD1100LE, untuk aplikasi yang memerlukan kekuatan lebih besar. Komposisi kimia dari produk ini dirancang dengan cermat untuk memastikan kemampuan las yang sangat baik. Pelat baja ini dijamin akan tetap terjaga ketangguhannya pada suhu rendah, sehingga cocok untuk mesin konstruksi yang perlu beroperasi dalam kondisi cuaca ekstrem.
